Cheslin Kolbe determined to break Springboks' 13-year defeat drought in Dublin

Wing player Cheslin Kolbe stressed the significance of converting scoring chances as the Springboks prepare to take on Ireland in Dublin this Saturday, aiming to end a 13-year winless streak at the Aviva Stadium.

Recent matchups between the two teams have been tightly contested, with Kolbe acknowledging that squandering opportunities during their last clash in Dublin in 2022 proved costly as Ireland emerged victorious 19-16.

"Regardless of the team, especially when it's the Springboks, winning every game is the goal," expressed Kolbe, reflecting on the missed opportunities in their previous Dublin encounter. "For me personally, I haven't experienced a win here. The 2022 match was close, but our failure to capitalize on key moments and kicks at goal was our downfall."
